Sesame-Crusted Grilled Tuna

It's bluefin tuna season here in Maine and we're thrilled to be able to ship tuna right to your door, sourced directly from our lobstermen here in Maine. The recipe possibilities are endless, and we love this simple grilled recipe from our bar manager, Kai!


1 lb bluefin tuna steak
1 Tbsp lemon pepper,
1 Tbsp garlic powder,
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp each black and white sesame seeds, toasted
Scallions, sliced for garnish


1. Combine lemon pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and rub generously over your tuna steak.

2. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the tuna, and place on a grill using high heat. Grill for two minutes per side.

3. Slice diagonally and garnish with chopped green scallions.
