Hilary Dupont, Summer 2011
Hilary came from the heavens (actually, Duke in Durham, NC) to join us as an intern in 2011. When she wasn't blogging about her adventures at Luke's, you could find her schmoozing with customers from the window of the Nauti Mobile. Hil's love of seafood is not a recent obsession; her fondest memories are by the ocean at her house in Martha's Vineyard. She's not only a star intern, but also is a fine chef -- Hilary is a superior pie baker and makes a mean turkey sandwich. Although she's usually as sweet as sugar, Hilary will make you regret it if you spell her name with two Ls! (by Lauren G)

Katharine Matsumoto, Summer 2010
Katharine hails from a long line of New Englanders tracing all the way back to the Mayflower, and she graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Management Science and Engineering in 2011. But don't let that fool you -- her real dream is to open and manage a bakery! Katharine joined the team as a summer intern and quickly proved to be much more adept at accounting and Quickbooks than the rest of the team (insert small business growing pains here). When she's not eating and baking dense, yummylicious zucchini bread, Katharine snaps landscape photos and waves her magical Photoshop wand over all. (by Gaby)

Gaby Gulo, Summer 2010
Also known as "G-Love," Gaby bleeds Cardinal and studies English/Creative Writing at Stanford University. Trained in over seven dance styles, she loves dancing as much as she loves literature and food: She pairs Keats with Earl Grey and Gaiman with dark chocolate. Offer her a dirty chai and you might get lucky...with her homemade French macarons. Never one to turn down a crazy adventure, her extensive BAMF list includes a NYC all-nighter and baking the Super Epic Rainbow Cake. After graduating this spring, she hopes to fight illiteracy, give in to her wanderlust, and eventually write a few novels. (by Lauren Drell)

Be Our Next All-Star Intern!
You got skills? We can probably use them! A young, growing business like ours is an exciting place for young talent to learn the ropes and make an impression. We've been fortunate to have ambitious, bright interns over the summers, and we look forward to having even more join the team. You'll help with marketing, business development and pretty much any project you'd like to undertake -- we're receptive to new ideas, and we want this to be a win-win experience both for you and Luke's. But you won't be stuck in an office all day -- we'll let you out to sling rolls at swanky catering events (see Hilary at left with Lauren G and Ben). Sound ideal? Email evi@lukeslobster.com with your resume and explain why you'd like to be a part of our awesome team.

Henry
Henry only makes it to Luke’s on weekends after landing a job at a top architecture firm, where the gain in prestige doesn’t make up for the loss in parties. When he isn’t making lobster rolls, decorating the chalkboard, or wielding a T-square, Henry sizzles in cooking competitions and international marathons. Henry knows his way around a balloon, as he proved with a giant inflated lobster costume at Halloween. If you catch him when his hands aren’t busy, ask him for a back rub. (by Jess)
