Andrew Benson, General Manager
Andrew is a self proclaimed lover of movies, though he prefers the special features. He spent his formative years in Pennsylvania dutch country before migrating to Boston. Despite his parents urging to get into the family furniture making business, he chose to pursue music and attend Berklee, then worked as a professional musician aboard a cruise ship. Andrew never (hardly ever) gets seasick. When not at Luke’s Lobster he can be found drumming for his band, The Kobolds. Andrew has a severe addiction to all things chocolate and loves secret spoonfuls of lobster tracks ice cream. (by Mike)

Cue Pokemon TV Series Theme Song
Alex K. Colby wants to be
the very best (filmmaker)! Like no one ever was!
To write stories is his real test
To film them is his cause.
He travelled far, starting from the Midwest,
And trained to film in Maine,
He filmed a doc about a lobster quest,
Which inspired Luke to share his fame!
Alex K Colby! (gotta stamp em all)
A heart so true!
He makes lobster rolls just for you!
Come and see what he can do!
Alex K Colby!
Gotta stamp em all! (by Doug) -
Olive
Between shifts at Luke's, Olive (short for Olivia) spends her time playing varsity volleyball at Sarah Lawrence College, hang gliding, studying to become an entertainment lawyer, attempting to rap, practicing her Towlie voice and generally being extreme. Her angry face is most people's happy face, but don't let her cute and short demeanor fool you -- she's a true Texan at heart. Born and raised in Austin, TX, Olive grew up shooting guns, drinking beer and riding in 9-person cars...with only three people. That's just how she rolls. Olive is also the resident artist at Luke's FiDi. Come in and check out her work around the restaurant, including the chalkboard menu and various lobster and crab pictures, among many other gems. Mike
To the casual passerby, Mike may seem like any average Joe. But in truth he is a devilish mastermind, a scheming individual with a knack for the obscure and unusual. Mike hails from the distant land of Connecticut where he and his lady friend often wander. He is also a member of the most infamous band Great Caesar, strumming the 6 string like nobody’s business. There he met with Colby, another Luke's character. The two made fantastic music videos before Mike followed Colby to the Luke's scene. You will easily recognize Mike by the fact that he is the tallest dude behind the counter, is usually showering his fellow teammates with the "greatest" puns ever, and by far one of the friendliest people ever! I swear, this guy must be 7 feet tall or something... (by Olive)

Nick
Nick makes our boss Andrew feel like “less of a man.” Upon hearing that, Andrew turned to me and said: “I can’t even imagine how you feel.” Nick has the humility to admit that he doesn’t know what he wants to do in the long term. Presently, he is a wide receiver at Bowdoin College in Maine -- a United State famous for its toothpicks, Allen’s Coffee Brandy and being a Canadian Territory (and lobster, too, I guess). At Bowdoin, he is part of an interdisciplinary program studying lobster and government (mind you, it’s no coincidence that the same man who authored The Maine Woods wrote, “The government that governs best is the government that governs least,” and it’s no surprise to anyone from Maine that a state representative recently pulled a .22 caliber gun on a photographer in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot, but it is what it is). Maybe this native New Yorker will continue to bring his lobster-roll control, knowledge of government (we call him "Nickipedia") and football discipline to a state that Steinbeck once described as seeming “to stretch on endlessly." Storr
I know what you’re thinking, and the answer is yes -- Storr is in fact a Viking! He tries to disguise this fact by acting incredibly chill and laid back, but don’t let his demeanor fool you -- Storr enjoys nothing better than a good raid on an unsuspecting village. However, pillaging and conquering aren’t the only things Storr has in his blood, because, as a native Mainer, Storr was born to make lobster rolls. He longed to serve lobster his entire young life growing up in Mount Desert Island, but unfortunately his dream had to be deferred while he got sidetracked by academics and earned a degree from NYU. Now Storr is finally able to pursue his true dream of working with fresh Maine lobster meat, and you can enjoy the fruits of his passion anytime you’re lucky enough to catch him in the kitchen at Luke’s. Eric
Eric hails from the golden coast of California. He is now living in New York City, but not without brief stays in New Jersey and Rhode Island. As a student at NYU he is focused on a future in music production and business & journalism. He already has a head start on his career, contributing to the website 'The Revivalist' which focuses on the resurgence of jazz music internationally. In his spare time he trains in MMA and Krav Maga, surely to defend Luke's Lobster from unnatural predators. He's been all over the world, visits to Australia, France, Israel, Amsterdam, and other places have given his passport a few full pages of stamps. Catch Eric at Luke's in the Financial District and ask him about all the great stuff he's into! (by Matt)

Julia
Julia hails from a Jersey real estate tycoon family who rolls like the Goodfellas, which is also her favorite movie. When she's not super busy setting up doggie playdates she can be found practicing her mad parkour skills on the Luke's Lobster schooner at our FiDi location. She rarely passes on an opportunity for an impromptu dance party at work, constantly perfecting her running-man to an assortment of songs, including Nikki Minaj, Notorious B.I.G. and Fleetwood Mac. Julia is currently studying English at the New School, where she hopes to one day learn that chowder is indeed spelled with the "d." (by Andrew)

Matt
Kittens kittens everywhere
Kittens chewing on my hair
Kittens climbing up my jeans
Kittens hanging from the screens
There's a kitten on each shoulder
Will they do this when they're older?Kittens fighting on the chairs
Kittens tumbling down the stairs
There's a kitten on my head
There's a kitten in the bread!
There's a kitten in my shoeMan I just love holding you.
