Sunday, December 20: New Amsterdam Market, Part III

We finished off this season of the New Amsterdam Market with a bang! We'll be back in 2010, so keep checking here for updates!
Sunday, November 22: New Amsterdam Market, Part II

We were back in action on South Street, between Beekman Street and Peck Slip at the New Amsterdam Market. Follow them on Twitter for more info and check out Facebook page for photos of the October market!
Wednesday, November 18: Taking the East Village by storm w/ Hurricane's soups
Today, we're proud to announce that Luke’s Lobster is serving two of Hurricane’s soups: the haddock chowder and a vegetarian corn chowder. Soon we'll feature a lobster bisque, spicy crab and sweet potato bisque, and shrimp and corn chowder, which Hurricane’s is developing exclusively for Luke’s.
Like the rest of our offerings, these soups will keep your belly full and your conscience clean. All of Hurricane’s soups are free of artificial ingredients, gluten, preservatives, and MSG. They’re made with fresh local ingredients, including BGH-free Maine cream, and they’re never frozen. Add all that to the fact that you’re supporting a homegrown family business and you can feel good about coming back for seconds. Read more here!
Saturday, November 7: University Place Fall Fair
We'll be at the University Place Fall Fair this Saturday from 11 to 6. Come enjoy a lobster roll in the beautiful fall weather (forecast: 55 degrees and sunny!) in Greenwich Village. Our booth is on University Place between 8th and 9th Streets. NYU students: take a break from your homework--feeding your stomach will feed your brain!
Saturday, October 31: You-are-what-you-eat Halloween Special!

Lobster was this year's hot Halloween costume (at least according to Evi's dog, Cooper). Trick-or-treaters dressed as a lobster, crab, or shrimp got 25% off that roll! Luke sported some claws as well. Check out our favorite costumes on our facebook page.
Thursday, October 29: Eat Lobster, Support Equality in Maine!

Earlier this year, Maine's legislature passed a law granting same sex couples the right to marry. On election day (November 3!) Maine citizens will be asked to strip that right away with Proposition 1, which would overturn the marriage equality law. Luke's supports equal rights for all Mainers, so we're encouraging Maine ex-pats to vote NO on Prop 1. To bolster the cause, we donated $1 for every roll we sold to the No on 1 Campaign. Thanks for taking a stand (and a bite) with us!
Sunday, October 25: New Amsterdam Market

NAM was a huge success! Check out our brief photo album on Facebook and read reviews of our market stall at Farm to Table and Food Mayhem. Hoping to do it again next month!
